Candidate Katie Teague has announced on Next Door a “Quorum Challenge” for the upcoming election for Directors. The first 350 shareholders to submit proxies or ballots will be eligible for a random selection to win a single cash prize. She seeded a Go Fund Me challenge with $250 with a goal of $1,000.
To enter, a shareholder should photograph the envelope containing their proxy or ballot before they mail it and then send the picture to Teague. Apparently, the prize will be awarded even if a quorum is not achieved, and even if she receives very few entries.
According to the Go Fund Me page, “This challenge is completely independent from the Crestview Mutual Water Company. Nor is it authorized.”
