The Board authorized a loan application for planning and designing Well #7 at 191 Alviso, and received updated costs for Well #7.

Crestview’s grant application to the State Water Resources Control Board (“SWRCB”) for technical assistance to plan Well #7 was denied because all of the money available in 2026 has been committed. Board adopts operating expense budget, postpones capital budget, and foreshadows substantial rate increase.

On November 25, the Board adopted an operating expense budget for the fiscal year ending November 30, 2026, but it postponed decisions about budgeting for capital spending, cash reserves building, and rate increases. Record low water sales in 2023 drives cautious spending budget for 2024.
